You Just Hired A Website Company.

What If You Don’t Hear From Them For 4 Months?

It’s the fear so many companies have about website developers – if you hand them a check, how collaborative are they going to be from here?

In our case at Bumper Lanes, we’re very open to collaboration and, of course, communication. Whether you require a standard website, eCommerce site or membership-based site, our team not only knows how to handle all of them. We also know how to share our next steps in a way that will make you supremely comfortable, especially since we like to talk in plain English rather than confusing code-speak.

Where Do We Begin?

First, we want to get a sense of how people are currently using your website and how you’d ideally like the website to be used.

Next, through a series of conversations, we’ll collaborate on sitemaps, wireframes and themes to obtain your approval. Once approved, you’ll be well on your way to seeing the initial version of your website.

Are we done yet? No.

Through an in-depth review period that can be done face-to-face or via screen share, we’ll discuss any revisions you might have on each page of the site. That’s better for our developers and definitely a good thing for you too.

Is our website development process detailed? You bet. In fact, being a 56-step process, it might be the most detailed of its kind. But don’t let that intimidate you. In our experience, having these steps means there’s far less of a chance that things fall through the cracks or get derailed. Your website company will actually more proactive than reactive. And we can ask good questions ahead of time to help anticipate if any needs should suddenly change.

Wouldn’t it be nice for a change to know exactly where your website project stands at any given moment versus wondering where it is?

Talk to Bumper Lanes. And wonder no more.
